The area is very appealing to those who love the outdoors. The White River runs right through Anderson, which can provide an area for fishing, kayaking, and more scenic spots. Another good spot is Mounds State Park which is one of Indiana's best state parks, with ancient earthworks dating back to 2100 years ago, hiking trails and river views.

There are also various entertainment spots. One very big one is Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing and Casino which is a large entertainment complex with horse racing, casino gaming, and dining. In addition, a memorable stop can be the Uranus Fudge Factory, which is great for families, dessert lovers, or just a fun detour. 

Transportation is very easy with I-69 very close by. The drive to downtown Indianapolis is only 35-40 minutes and is a very quick drive to Fishers, Noblesville, or Pendleton. Those who want to work in Indy have the luxury of doing so with cheaper housing and a quieter community.
