WELCOME TO WARREN PARK | A Practical, Affordable Neighborhood Near Irvington

Warren park, located on the east side of Indianapolis, is known for affordable single-family homes, ranches, and small mid-century houses. The housing prices within the neighborhood are generally more budget-friendly than the Indianapolis average, attracting first-time homeowners, investors, etc. It is roughly .6 square miles, meaning everything in town is close, with only roughly a 12-minute drive to downtown Indianapolis.

Warren Park is the closest and central park residents use, offering walking paths, relaxation spots, open grassy areas, and more. Only about 5 minutes away is Ellenberger Park, a large 42-acre community park that features a swimming pool, playgrounds, tennis and pickleball courts, and even some exciting community events.

While Warren Park does not have a big commercial strip itself, it does sit right next to Irvington. This can be very fun and interesting because residents can enjoy the activities as well. It offers the Irvington Historic District, the largest protected district in Marion County, featuring over 500+ acres of historic homes and buildings. Even more exciting, Irvington is famous for a multi-day Halloween festival and street fair that draws thousands each year

As mentioned, downtown is only a short drive, and Indygo bus routes connect Warren Park with central Indianapolis for those in need. Shopping is also very simple with East Washington Street only a few minutes’ drive that offers groceries, pharmacies, and everyday retail.
