Meadows

Meadows is home to a lot of parks and highly rated schools. It also has multiple churches and restaurants in the community. Its borders are roughly Fall Creek and the Indiana State Fairgrounds on the west side, and it spans from 46th street down to 34th street with North Sherman Drive on its east side.

The Meadows neighborhood has several parks available with green spaces, playgrounds, trails and nature areas. And it is located next to two large parks with great amenities. Brookside Park is 108 acres with a 20,000-square-foot family center, an outdoor swimming pool, a disc golf course and two playgrounds. Sanford Park in close proximity has a fitness challenge course, large sports fields and a large 20-foot play structure. The Fairbanks Art & Nature Park is also nearby with 100 acres of woodlands and a large lake as well as specialized art installations.

The Meadows neighborhood has lots of recent revitalization efforts underway. This includes a newer YMCA in the heart of the community as well as The Excel Center. Meadows Park has newly installed outdoor pickle ball courts and features solid basketball courts as well.

The Meadows neighborhood offers residents a dense suburban feel. 38th street and Keystone Ave run through the center of Meadows neighborhood with Binford Boulevard nearby, so it's easy to get around the city. Despite the traffic of 38th street, residents say the busyness drops off quickly and that it's been an enjoyable neighborhood for them to live in.
