Stout Field

Stout Field, located on the west side of Indianapolis near the former Stout Army Air Field, is mainly residential with a mix of post-war homes, some remaining military-era housing, and small apartments. 

Many well-known attractions are very close to the neighborhood. Stout Field offers a small neighborhood park called Bel Aire Park, while there are larger parks just a drive away like Ben Davis Park, Haughville Park, and Eagle Creek Park which feature even more green scenery, trails, water activities, and even a nature center. In addition, those who enjoy entertainment can try out the Tibbs Drive-in Theatre, Indy Motor Speedway, Dallara IndyCar Factory, or Indiana Medical History Museum.

As for shopping and dining, there are various options nearby such as the Rockville Road Corridor which is a major commercial stretch with large known stores like Target, Meijer, Kroger, restaurants, and more. In addition Speedway Main street features local restaurants, brewery options, and coffee shops while Avon Retail District features a big shopping area. 

Less than 5 minutes north is I-465, with Rockville Road, Washing Street, and I-70 also very accessible. Stout Field is extremely easy to commute with Downtown Indy only 12-18 minutes away.
