Devonshire

Devonshire, located on the northeast side of Indianapolis in Marion County, can be described as a peaceful, well-maintained neighborhood known for its beautiful surroundings and friendly community. Families and young professionals both live here, with Niche giving the neighborhood an A- rating on good for families. The housing within the neighborhood can be described as older and established, with many homes that were upscale when built and many that have been remodeled. 

Devonshire conveniently offers green spaces and parks within close reach. A hidden gem behind the houses in the neighborhood, Fall Creek greenway/trail, offers a nice change of scenery and outdoor activities. 

There are also many restaurants nearby that residents can enjoy. There is a variety ranging from live entertainment, breweries, pancake/ breakfast houses, etc. Some of the restaurants nearby are George’s Neighborhood Grill which offers live music, Just Judy’s Restaurant, Ramen Ray, and Sourdough Heaven. 

While walkability is decent in most areas, a car would definitely be needed. Commute times and access to major highways may vary depending exactly where in the neighborhood you are, but still residents have easy access to the Indianapolis area.
