Audubon Gardens

Audubon Gardens is a peaceful, mature neighborhood in Indianapolis, known for its beautiful yards and bird-friendly environment. The community is very active, offering residents many opportunities to engage such as events, community meetings, and constant neighborhood improvement efforts. 

The neighborhood has a variety of different home styles mainly with single family homes and smaller homes. The overall pricing of the neighborhood is very affordable, allowing residents to either buy or rent for a budget-friendly price. 

There are also many great attractions around the area that could peak residents’ interest. An extremely popular attraction nearby Audubon Gardens is the Eagle Creek Park Ornithology Center which is designated as an important Bird area and is apart of the Indiana Birding trail. Other attractions in the area including nature or greenery would be the Millard Sutton / Amos Butler Audubon Sanctuary, White River Gardens, and Newfields / IMA & Gardens. Other nearby attractions include the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art and the Indianapolis Art Center (IAC). 

Nearby, many stores and restaurants are available for the residents. A local convenience store would be the Audubon Road Corner Store while many other chain stores are near the area for other necessities. Strange Bird, Sahm’s Tavern & Sports Bar, The Med and Smash’d Burger Bar, and Rick’s Café Boatyard are all nearby restaurants. 

Commuting is easy thanks to many nearby routes such as 38th Street, I-70, and I-465. If needed, Indygo routes right along 38th Street, Emerson Avenue, and Arlington Avenue making it easy to reach downtown, the State Fairgrounds, or Glendale Town Center as well.
